Over Balms & Creams
Balms and creams for skin, lips, and body, with ingredients you know from Morocco: argan, nila, and henna. In addition, you will find pure white and yellow shea butter, kokum and cocoa butter, body lotions, and Coconut Creme by Aunt Jackie's.
Which balm or cream will you choose?
- Pure butters: shea butter from Aytira, Vitamix (white and yellow, creamy or chunky), and Najel (vanilla), Nilotica shea butter, kokum butter, and cocoa butter in 100 or 250 grams. Pure butter is solid and softens with the warmth of your hands.
- Body cream and lotion: Cocoa Butter Body Lotion by American Dream (750 ml), Cocoa Butter Body Cream by AD, Ultimate Organic Cocoa & Shea Body Cream, and Ultra Moisture Body Cream by Fair & White.
- Face: Nila cream with indigo from Aytira (100 g), a cream with Nila Sahraouia, and a face cream with prickly pear from Najel.
- Hands and lips: Argan Spa hand cream by Ottoman in Sahara Musk, a lip balm with shea butter and argan from Oleanat, and the Magic Moroccan lipstick with henna.
- Balm: an Ayurvedic massage balm with 18 herbs.
How to use pure shea butter
Take a small amount and rub it between your hands until it softens. Then apply it to dry areas, such as elbows, hands, or feet. A little bit is enough, because pure butter is rich. For your hair, use it primarily on the ends. Store shea, kokum, and cocoa butter in a cool, dry place.
You can find more skincare at body care, face care, and nourishing oils. The Magic lipstick is also listed under make-up.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have creams with Moroccan ingredients?
Yes, such as the Nila cream with indigo from Aytira, the lip balm with argan from Oleanat, and the Magic Moroccan lipstick with henna.
What is the difference between a balm and a cream?
A balm contains little to no water and is more solid, such as pure shea butter or a lip balm. A cream or lotion also contains water and absorbs more quickly.
What is nila?
A blue powder from the indigo plant that has traditionally been used in skincare in Morocco. In this collection, it is included in, among other things, the Nila cream from Aytira.
