This 100% natural soap is crafted in the traditional way by mixing Mediterranean water with olive oil, sometimes combined with other vegetable oils, sodium carbonate, and sodium hydroxide. This mixture is heated in a large cauldron for several days while being constantly stirred. This allows it ample time to 'mature' before being poured into molds to harden further. While the soap is still soft, it is cut into the correct shape and stamped.
