Cooking safely with a pressure cooker
Do not overfill the pan: usually up to two-thirds, and for legumes and rice, which foam and expand, up to half. Bring the pan to pressure and then lower the heat. Only open the pan once all the pressure has been released. Check occasionally whether the valve is clean and the rubber ring still seals properly, and always follow your pan's manual.
You can find more pans under pans. For slow stewing, there is the cooking tagine, and you can find handy tools under kitchen utensils.
