The history of Aromafume
Aromafume incense bricks are manufactured by an Indian family business. For five generations, this family has been making incense and perfumery products according to a secret family recipe. They combine the ancient art of creating natural incense with fragrances that suit modern times. India is the cradle of many spices and incense resins (olibanum) and has a long-standing connection with incense making. In addition, the country has a rich Ayurvedic tradition where extensive knowledge is available regarding the healing effects of herbs, flowers, and plants. The correlation between the spice trade and Ayurvedic principles led to an exchange of knowledge and the development of many wonderful types of incense.
