Kach Tagine Ø 30 cm blue/white

Cheerful decorated earthenware tagine with colored motifs. The dome-shaped lid is hand-painted and relatively low.

Because of the special cone-shaped lid, evaporated moisture flows back onto the ingredients. Since all juices as well as all aromas are preserved when preparing dishes in a tagine, it is a true sensory experience to open the tagine at the table in the presence of all your guests!

Please note: The tagine is handmade and painted; the painting on the delivered model may differ slightly from the one in the photo. It may also occur that the tagine shows an imperfection (such as a misplaced paint splash or small unevenness). On the one hand, this is part of the charm of the product.

First use of the tagine:

A preparatory treatment is required before using the tagine for the first time, so it is necessary to follow the steps below:

1. Wash the tagine with lukewarm water. Both the lid and the base.
2. Remove the tagine from the water and dry it thoroughly.
3. Grease the inside and outside with (olive) oil.
4. The tagine is now ready for its first use! :

Please note!:
- The tagine cannot withstand temperature shocks, so heat the tagine gradually.
- Never preheat when using in the oven.
- The tagine is not dishwasher safe.

Maintenance
Wash the tagine by hand with a little dish soap and warm water. Use a non-metal brush and do not leave the earthenware soaking in water. Let the tagine dry thoroughly to prevent mold.

You can use the tagine on any heat source.

What dishes can you prepare?
Use the tagine to prepare fish, meat, vegetables, and fruit. The flavors of added herbs and other seasonings have plenty of time to meld together during preparation in the tagine. The result is a tasty, low-fat dish.
