Living for Allah

Muslim is the name Allah gives to those who are and remain faithful to His religion. The basic characteristic mentioned in the Quran that distinguishes Muslims from other people is their awareness of the infinite Power of Allah. Realizing the power of Allah is not just a matter of verbal confirmation. Believers are those who acknowledge the existence and Greatness of Allah, are steadfast in their duty towards Him, and adapt their actions and behavior to this reality that is clear to them. This book recounts the model of a believer who lives for Allah alone as explained in the Quran. It should not be forgotten that Paradise is the abode of those who are certain (Surah Luqman, 4) of Allah and the Hereafter and who subsequently strive for it with a serious effort. The end of those who place their insignificant worldly interests alongside the pleasure of Allah is described in the Quran as follows: And among the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what the manifest loss is. (Surah Al-Hajj, 11)
