Moroccan Tamegroute medium green plate Ø 17 cm

Moroccan green glazed earthenware plate. Beautiful handmade plate crafted according to centuries-old techniques. The ancient glazing technique involves silicon, manganese, and copper, which, once fired in earth ovens, results in the striking green hue. Sometimes copper is replaced with iron oxide to achieve a more brown/olive-colored result. Each piece varies; no two are the same. Bubbles, scratches, color variations in the green, and even small spots in the glaze are all to be expected and should be embraced as part of the unique and handmade character of each piece. dimensions: Ø 17 cm
