Le Chatelard 1802 Savon de Marseille Soaps
All soaps are handmade in the Le Chatelard 1802 workshops in St Auban sur Ouvèze, Provence (France). Thanks to the pH-neutral formula, these soaps do not dry out the skin. They are a source of intense hydration and softness. The soaps are delicately scented with flowers, fruit, and other natural ingredients, producing a rich lather that nourishes, moisturizes, and smells wonderful.

This 100% natural soap
is manufactured in the traditional way by mixing water from the Mediterranean Sea with olive oil, sometimes combined with other vegetable oils, sodium carbonate, and sodium hydroxide. This mixture is heated in a large cauldron for several days, during which it is constantly stirred. This gives it plenty of time to 'mature,' after which it is poured into molds to harden further. While the soap is still soft, it is cut into the correct shape and stamped. The entire process can take up to a month.
