Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 2

Before you lies the long-awaited second volume of the Dutch translation of a collection of traditions from Sahih Al-Bukhari. This work is a translation of the compilation by al-Imaam Zain-ud-Dien Ahmad Ibn Abdilatief Az-Zabiedie. In his collection—as he states himself in his preface—he has included most of the traditions from Sahih Al-Bukhari, omitting repetitive ones. He has left out the chains of narrators to make it easier to locate the traditions. He has only included repeated traditions if the repetition contains an addition. As a result, the essence of the original book has been preserved. The traditions from Sahih Al-Bukhari have been accepted and adopted by the Islamic nation as authentic. It is not without reason that, alongside Sahih Muslim, Sahih Al-Bukhari is the most authentic book after the Quran.
