Handmade earthenware Moroccan tajine. Thanks to the special conical lid, evaporated moisture flows back onto the ingredients. Because the tajine preserves all juices and aromas during cooking, opening it at the table in front of your guests is a true sensory experience!

Please note: The tajine is handmade and hand-painted, so the design on the model you receive may differ slightly from the one shown in the photo. It may also occur that the tajine has imperfections (such as a stray paint splash or minor unevenness). This is part of the product's charm.

First use of the tajine:

Before the first use, the tajine requires a preparatory treatment; please follow the steps below:

1. Wash the tajine, both the lid and the base, with lukewarm water.
2. Remove the tajine from the water and dry it thoroughly.
3. Coat the inside and outside with (olive) oil.
4. The tajine is now ready for its first use! :

Please note!:
- The tajine is sensitive to temperature shocks, so heat it up gradually.
- When using in the oven, never preheat.
- The tajine is not dishwasher safe.

Maintenance
Hand-wash the tajine with a little dish soap and warm water. Use a non-metal brush and do not leave the earthenware soaking in water. Allow the tajine to dry thoroughly to prevent mold.

You can use the tajine on any heat source.

What dishes can you prepare?
Use the tajine to prepare fish, meat, vegetables, and fruit. During the cooking process in the tajine, the flavors of added herbs and spices have plenty of time to meld together. The result is a tasty, low-fat dish.
