About Tamegroute pottery

The craft of making Tamegroute pottery is known to only seven families in the village. Each family has its own kiln and studio. Because the kilns are not large enough, the pieces are stacked on top of each other using small separators at three points. As a result, almost every piece features the characteristic imprints of those three points.
